Ceramic Brake Pad
Ceramic brake pads do not contain metal, materials include mineral fiber, aramid fiber and ceramic fiber (because steel fiber will rust, generate noise and dust, so it cannot meet the requirements of ceramic type formula), ceramic type brake pads are cleaner and quiet than other brake pads, has a stable coefficient of friction, good thermal stability, long service life, and provides excellent braking performance without wearing out the metal parts that make up the friction pair with the friction disc.

Semi-metallic Brake Pads
Semi-metal friction material, used for disc brake pads of cars and heavy vehicles, its material formula usually contains about 30% to 50% of ferrous metals (such as steel fibers, reduced iron powder, foamed iron powder). It is the first non-asbestos material developed to replace asbestos. Its characteristics are: good heat resistance, large power absorption per unit area, high thermal conductivity, and can be used for high-speed and heavy-duty vehicles. However, there are also disadvantages such as loud brake noise and brittleness.
